One commodity that will glow above all others - no, not the shiny Yellen, er, sorry - YELLOW metal, but the one that'll glow forever, uranium. Supply/demand for exisiting nuclear power plants is completely out of whack and favors demand for years to come!

Mining stocks and bonds, this is pretty much my portfolio. Except that I put it on way, way too early.

Should have waited till the Shrub gave the go ahead

Such an amazing and important piece.

I also had the same wibes from Yellen. My subconscious was screaming about it. My gut fully aware.

I did not turn it into an actionable plan and act on it. Put words on my feelings and lay it all out in my head what it means.

Big lessons for me here.

My gut and subconscious is on point, but need to think like a Shrub as well. Not be married to a prior view. That is what got me here.

Unlike you with 4444 I didn't toss out my prior framework as easily.

I can't ever get married to a view. I need to be a bachelor. If I do it'll divorce me and take half when the truth is laid bare later my gut warned me about.

A more interesting question is why powell decided to pivot from just two months ago. What did he see? I tend to think the 10 year treasury move to 5% freaked him out and combined with Yellen's "the US is financially fine" comment made him worried about the system.
