Thanks shrub, this is very informative I think I understand! I was wondering if you could elaborate a little on your opinion why you consider different prices for these areas... is there more oil in those places, is it just the uncertainty on supply side with escalation in key area, or something else- any thoughts would help!

my take is because about 1/3 of the oil comes through the Strait of Hormuz, far more than comes through the Red Sea

V interesting, though can't work out if Retail can buy Oil easily - the Wisdomtree Brent ETC has not been following CL1 (presumably the usual issues).

It does seem, in the context of oil, that geopolitical risks are very under appreciated right now.

How good to be a star wars fan.

Now, that's a map! My theory of teaching, which I engaged in for 40 years, is that you have to entertain while you inform. The NYT could learn something from you about enlightening the nation.

Also, congratulations on your score in the oil market!

You keep telling me day after day you are a shrub, but there is no nothing more obvious that you are in fact a redolent weed.

To those who read me on notes, this gentleman is an excellent commentator on the markets, but he cracks jokes like he has just smoked something.
