Boy, that escalated quickly…the noises around a possible Ukraine Ceasefire are getting louder. Trump has confirmed that he spoke to Putin and they agreed to begin talks to end the War. Per the FT, citing Western officials, “Trump and Putin would try to secure a ceasefire by one of two significant upcoming dates: Easter, which the Orthodox and Catholic churches will both celebrate on April 20 this year; or May 9, when Russia celebrates the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany.”

I still believe this could be the BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR and none is, or at least was, talking about it or positioned for it.

Luckily, we wrote a Shrubstack on it ONE WEEK AGO, highlighting the upcoming catalysts, as well as the trades we put on, in anticipation of this event. The link is here and I strongly recommend you read it again, instead of doom-scrolling on Twitter :)
