Simple framework describing the "game" as it *is*, instead of as we would want it to be.

This should be required reading for High School students.

They must understand The Ponzi they are about to enter.

Shrubtastic!.

My only quibble is the “pleb flation” threshold should be 4.444% (not 4%) for narrative consistency.

I get the Yellen theory is a fun angle, but what has she really done that wasn't generally prudent? Run the TGA to zero when she had no other option? Shift to the front end of the curve while the long end was blowing out?

I'm also not sure why a Fed headed by a registered Republican and Trump apointee is dying to goose the economy in an election year.

Also the general idea that the Fed or government writ large can orchestrate their intended nuanced outcome is well....a bit unproven historically.

There are Trump republicans and there are Mitt Romney republicans. What is Powell? If its the latter.......

Labels as R and D is too simplistic. I am sure Powell has strong opinions on both candidates having served under both irrelevant to the policies.

Interesting framework, creates a lot of possible jumping off points. (And I don't mean jumping off buildings...)

I am glad you are sure that the Great Goddess Yellen is playing this as an election year. If she doesn't, Biden is sunk. And so are the rest of us.
