The Trump - Zelenskyy “meeting” (aka “sh*show”) was a Milestone. I tweeted this out, more so because I was interested in people’s responses:

As I suspected, most people missed the point, with some even assuming that America won’t be Great Again (spoiler alert: America was, is and will be Great).

Here’s how Encyclopaedia Britannica describes American Exceptionalism:

“Proponents of American exceptionalism generally pair the belief with the claim that the United States is obligated to play a special role in global politics.”

Yet, Trump is telling Zelenskyy and the Europeans: “End the War, or we won’t support you anymore…we are not obligated to be a part of this”…

…which is precisely what Trump promised in his Election Platform. Yet, even the Financial Times Weekend Edition came out to say that “this feels the week the Trump Trades went on life support”. Nah! This is what Trump said he would do and this is what Trump is doing.
