To give you an example, the Nasdaq just experienced a 2,000 point swing in less than 2 weeks.
In 2017, the Nasdaq took ONE YEAR to rise 1,500 points. Even in 2021, the Year of the Ponzi, the Nasdaq took ONE YEAR to rise 3,400 points. You get my drift…there’s Volatility in the Golden Age of Grift!
These are dangerous times. Investors need to ask a lot of “What If’s” to make sure their portfolio is robust enough for all possible outcomes. I’ve gone through this exercise and ended up constructing a portfolio that I labelled “The BBB-Barbell Portfolio™️”.
