We live in the Golden Age of Grift aka GAG ™️.
Shrubstack was early in this Mega-theme, finding “GAG” trades that offered asymmetric risk - reward, which led us to allocate a decent % of our portfolio to them (see “GAG™️can lead to GASP™️”).
It really warms my heart that the Shrubscriber community took the theme and made it their own, sharing their own ideas along the way.
Unbeknownst to most, what we have been doing is engaging in a form of arbitrage.
In the Golden Age of Grift, I shall refer to this strategy as Grift Arbitrage™️.
By the end of the decade, this will become a mainstream asset allocation strategy. Books will be written on it. Funds will be raised on the back of it…but you heard it here first!
In this piece, we will elaborate further on the Grift Arbitrage Strategy. Then we will update on existing GAG ideas and share a few new ones.
